Modes in PolyTrak correspond to the four core practice categories you can participate during an Event. We track them as a percent of how your activity is recorded.

  • Speaking
Log the percent you practice speaking—conversations, pronunciation drills, or shadowing audio. Duration drives your Speaking totals and charts.

  • Listening
Track the percent of the session where you listen - podcasts, lectures, or audio exercises may be 100% listening. Your listening time feeds into your Listening activity graphs.

  • Reading
Record reading activities - articles, books, or text drills. PolyTrak counts duration or, in the future - page/chunk counts toward your Reading metrics.

  • Writing
Capture writing practice - journaling, essays, or grammar exercises. Entries are measured by the percent of time spent or (in the future, word counts and appear in your Writing overview).
